Terms of service
These terms govern your use of Itempiece and every purchase or sale made through it.
Who we are
Itempiece operates an online marketplace for second-hand items. Each item is unique: there is exactly one piece of every listing. See the imprint for the operator’s details.
Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your password secret. You are responsible for everything done through your account. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.
Buying
Prices are shown in the listed currency and include VAT where it applies. Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it. When you place an order the item is reserved for you until payment is completed or the order is cancelled. Shipping is a flat fee per order and is free for Itempiece Plus members. The contract is concluded when your payment is confirmed.
Selling and consignment
Sellers must describe items honestly, including defects, and may only list items they own and are allowed to sell. Every listing is reviewed before it goes live. On a sale the seller receives 40% of prices below €50; for prices of €50 or more, 40% of the first €50 plus 70% of the remainder, minus €1 per item. Payouts are made after the buyer has received the item and the return period is respected, through Stripe Connect.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Gift vouchers and store credit reduce the amount charged to your card and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Liability and changes
We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health, and as required by mandatory law. We may update these terms; the version published when you place an order applies to that order.
